My name is Phillip Risby, and I am the Pastor of Liberty Tabernacle a church on the move for God. Liberty Tabernacle is a non-denominational ministry founded on biblical principles. We consider ourselves a hospital for the hurting, wounded souls in need of healing. We know that healing is a process that takes time, compassion and sincere care, and here at Liberty Tabernacle, you will find a loving supportive environment in which to grow.
We invite you to come as you are (suit and tie optional) and enjoy service with us. We believe if you heed God's call to come, He will begin the process of renovation in your life. PASTOR PHILLIP RISBY
In 1987 God called Phillip Risby into the ministry, under the pastorate of Bishop Ronald Henry. Minister Phillip Risby faithfully served his church. However, he also believed it was our reseponsibility to get outside the church walls and reach those in need of salvation.
Oftentimes, Minister Risby would venture out alone in various neighborhoods ministering and inviting people to come to church. In December 1991, Minister Risby stepped out on the vision he had received from the Lord and established Liberty Tabernacle.
OUR CHURCH
We are a people, who have been saved by grace, kept by God's abundant, amazing grace and given liberty through the precious blood of Jesus!
We do not see race creed or color, just those precious saints of our Lord and Savior. We are a people, of a Higher calling. Sent forth to win souls for Jesus and give Him all glory, honor and praise.
